On April 6, 2025, four technicians from Shengsida set sail from Shenzhen, China, and went to Bulgaria to start a 14-day energy storage fire protection technology exchange and station fire protection system maintenance and upgrade service.
With the upgrading of energy storage fire protection technology and the updating and iteration of industry standards, higher requirements are put forward for fire protection system. The upgrade of the fire-fighting host of the energy storage system is an inevitable requirement to ensure the safety of the energy storage facilities. The important task of the Shengsida team on this trip is to upgrade the system of the fire-fighting host on site. As of the release of this manuscript, with the joint efforts of engineers, the fire-fighting hosts of the three stations in Bulgaria have all been upgraded successfully.
In addition, when the energy storage cabinet is installed outdoors, its supporting energy storage fire protection system is directly exposed to complex climatic environments such as extreme temperature or high humidity environment and ultraviolet radiation, which is prone to problems such as corrosion and blockage of pipeline interfaces and aging and damage of line insulation layers, thus affecting the stability of the energy storage fire protection system. Therefore, the Shengsida team conducted a systematic investigation of 137 sets of energy storage cabinets for the Bulgarian project, and repaired and replaced the damaged metal panels and grounding wires on site. During this period, I communicated with the maintenance personnel of each station, and actively discussed the maintenance details and precautions of the fire protection system, and gained a lot.
