Fire regulations training to help project compliance landing

In order to deepen the relevant technical personnel's understanding of fire regulations, the long-prepared "Fire Regulations" special training activity was recently held in the Shengsida conference room. This training focuses on the systematic interpretation of fire regulations, and aims to help technicians accurately grasp the requirements of industry standards and strengthen their awareness of compliance operations.

This training started from three parts: "brief introduction of fire control regulations system, brief introduction of domestic regulations and brief introduction of foreign regulations", with technical director Xu gong and overseas fire engineer Xue gong as the main speakers. In the interpretation of the "domestic regulations brief" plate of the main regulations of energy storage fire protection, the speaker Xu Gong specifically pointed out: "At present, the laws and regulations involved in the domestic energy storage fire protection design mainly include" Technical Code for Fire Protection of Prefabricated Cabin Type Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Energy Storage Power Station "T/CEC 373-2020," Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings "GB50016-2014," Code for Design of Automatic Fire Alarm System "GB50116-2013, Code for Design of Automatic Sprinkler System" GB GB50084-2017, and Code for Design of Gas Fire Extinguishing System GB 50370-2005. At present, the formal national standard for energy storage and fire protection has not been promulgated in China, and the current design specification is only for reference. In the actual design work, it is necessary to give priority to the existing specification requirements, and at the same time, it can be adjusted according to the specific needs of the project party."

When introducing the U.S. fire protection law, Xue Gong, an overseas fire engineer, summarized the frequently used regulations in the design of NFPA2001-detergent fire extinguishing system, NFPA72-national fire alarm code, NFPA13-water sprinkler system installation standard, NFPA855-fixed energy storage system installation standard, etc. This paper expounds in detail the certification standard of the US Fire Protection Act, that is, the global safety certification issued by the US safety science company Underwriters Laboratories(UL), which mainly evaluates the safety, reliability and compliance of products (such as electrical equipment, building materials, fire fighting equipment, etc.). Taking NFPA855 as the specific design standard, it involves the design standards of 68-explosion-proof ventilation guide, 72-national fire alarm specification, 13-water spray system installation standard, etc. In response to the testing standards of the U.S. Fire Protection Act, Xue Gong pointed out: "UL9540A is ESS's large-scale fire protection test verification, which can provide data to verify the safety of exceptional fire protection methods and installation methods." In addition, this training system explains the EN15004-X and EN54-X of European fire protection law. Australian regulations AS 4214, AS 2118, AS 1670.
